My friend sent me this very cool video about mobile manners, which basically means, the way we use our mobile technology in public. Mobile technology has changed people's behaviour, and sometimes people need help to understand what's good behaviour in public, and what's bad behaviour in public.
Watch the video. Confess! Are you a Gaby, or a Gertrude with your mobile devices in public?
Listen carefully and try to hear this vocabulary:
Vocabulary:
a chore = something unpleasant you have to do, like clean the bathroom, empty the trash
keep s/th to a minimum = reduce s/th to the smallest amount possible
mess = your stuff, especially when it's untidy and not neat
the key to the city = an honour given by the mayor of the city to outstanding citizens
make a mess = create an untidy space around you
hog s/th = selfishly use everything so that no one else can use it, refuse to share
outlet = the place where you plug your computer to get power
hazard = something dangerous
