Aowanda National Forest Park

On Monday I had a great trip to Aowanda Forest Park in Nantou with my good friend Gerald driving there in his new car. The journey took around 4 hours each way, and we left really early in the morning. The weather was perfect, no rain, and quite sunny.

Aowanda Park is really great. The forest is beautiful, and you can see many unusual plants and birds. We were too late for the maple leaves, but I believe it is very beautiful earlier in the year. We saw how much damage was done to the environment by Typhoon Marakot: The typhoon completely transformed the landscape. Very impressive and beautiful.

We also crossed the new suspension bridge there. Quite scary!
