Mobile phone use

My friend sent me this advert from Thailand. It's for a mobile phone network provider, and I think it's quite clever. Usually, these kind of adverts are designed to get you using your phone more, but this one is the opposite. Watch it and tell me what you think.

Do you think we are all using our mobile phones too much? Is mobile phone use, texting, and stuff, interfering with our relationships?


And then a student sent me this link, about what happened when a mobile phone rang in class. Watch what happens:


Did the teacher over-react? How would you feel if you were the teacher? How would you feel if you were the student?

    From my point of view, smart mobile is a social tool as well. (I used what you thaught today:P)

    It's really annoying if the mobile phone rang in the class, but I would ask the student shut down her cell phone instead of throwing it if I were the teacher.
