口說測驗基礎 II Homework 1

In this class we talked about winning the lottery. Here is a video of a woman who won 112 Million USD. She became a philanthropist. A philanthropist is a rich person who uses their money to help other people.



Listen to the first three and a half minutes of the video. Can you hear this vocabulary?

    Teacher I have a question last week,

    On your handout page 7,the first column shows that "A number of factors effects happiness."
    why the verb needs to add "s"？Isn't that "A number of factors"means a lot of factors?

    I'm confused,please help me.

    I think you are using an older version of the material, which included this typo. In my version it doesn't have an 's'. You are right.
